This is a fully differentiated lesson created for learners studying functional skills level 1 and level 2. The theme of the lesson is the controversy surrounding Video Assisted Referees which is a great topic if you are struggling to engage your learners. The lesson has been broken down to help support learners to improve their reading and writing skills. The lesson has modelled examples to help students to improve work and to see what a strong example looks like. In addition, the lesson has additional links for revision which can be very important for independent learning.
