These are some notes on GCSE Cells that you can use to help understand the topic better! I’ve broken it down so it’s aesthetic, simple & easier to understand. I hope it helps!

Note this may not be everything you need to know for your exam- I try to cover the fundementals of the topic. You will need to check your specification/ syllabus to see if you do/ do not need to learn the information in my resources.

  • Describe the structure of a bacterial cell, limited to: cell wall, cell membrane, cytoplasm, ribosomes, circular DNA, plasmids
  • Describe the functions of the structures in plant, animal and bacterial cells
