This lesson examines the tensions which grew between the Plains Indians and the white settlers which then resulted in the Fort Laramie Treaty of 1851. All resources for the teaching of the lesson are included in the resource and so there is no need for any further text books.

All of the lessons for the American West unit contain a variety of learning tasks suitable for all abilities, practice exam questions, engaging individual or group activities as well as the key information needed for the Edexcel Specification. Each lesson features a fact sheet which is intended to be used as a substitute for the text book. Therefore, this lesson contains everything you will need for the lesson.

The lesson looks good - easy to go through and good worksheets. The only problem is that there is a reference to a text book page on the worksheet... but not which book it is - which makes it a little confusing. My school uses the Pearson and the Hodder books for this topic (Edexcel). Would it be possible to have the title of the book please?
