A fully differentiated and resourced lesson on William Wordsworth’s ‘The Prelude’, one of the poems in the AQA Power and Conflict Poetry Anthology, with the lesson ideally suited for both KS3 and KS4 students.

Activities include a cloze exercise on the contextual theme of the Romantic Poets to support weaker students or those revising the topic.

There is an activity which looks at analysing the structure of the poem, and tasks which look at each stanza separately, focusing on language techniques. There is a section which explores how the poem explores the theme of Conflict.
