These worksheets have been created after: getting student feedback, liaising with students of different abilities, and teachers’ feedback on difficulties with differentiation, in many schools, ranging from Grammar schools to Comprehensive schools, across the country. The worksheets are designed to help stretch and challenge those students who are struggling to confidently answer reading questions or complete writing tasks to a good standard.
There are varied skills demanded from the students, therefore all students are able to complete the tasks and challenge themselves further. The sheets act as a valuable form of revision and further supports in deepening analysis skills. They can also be used as homework or as a starter in lessons for planning section B.
