GCSE Superpower Relations and the Cold War Literacy Map & Knowledge Organiser

A Literacy Map/Knowledge Organiser that can be used to supplement and scaffold KS4 studies into Superpower Relations and the Cold War.

Designed for use with the Edexcel GCSE 9-1 Unit ‘Superpower Relations and the Cold War’, it contains the following features:

• 3 mats: split into each Key Topic of the Unit
• Key words for the unit and their definitions in appropriate language
• Key quotes from the era designed to give an overview of each period
• A chronological timeline of all the key leaders in the Unit, split up into each Key Topic
• Key dates of the Unit, split up into Key Topics and in chronological order
• Advice on how to answer questions and structure thought

Although the resource is designed for this topic, it could be easily adapted to be used for a KS3 or other KS4 unit.

The resource is designed to be printed, laminated and placed on student desks as they progress in their studies so as to scaffold their learning.
