This is an assembly all about George Floyd, what racism is and and what is Black Lives Matter.
It includes slides with information and pictures as well as some videos to help explain to students what has happened with the USA protests and why it has happened. It also draws upon the UK riots and has lots of links for further reading, watching and listening for the students.
Please note that as this assembly was created during lock down it is designed to be a virtual assembly but can easily be adapted for a normal assembly. It can also be adapted for a lesson.
