Give or Take (game template)

Game template to play Give or Take in foreign language classes. Very engaging and tons of fun! Maybe some tears…

To play: Students are separated into 2 teams. At the beginning of a team’s turn, they must first decide if they will give the points to the other team, or take them for themselves. Then, they decide which square they will attempt to translate into the target language.

If they are correct, click on the square to reveal the points. They are awarded according to whether the team chose to give or take the points.

If they are incorrect, the other team can attempt the response. If they get it correct, reveal the points and the team can decide to give or take them.

This is a fun and engaging game for students to produce the target language. It is adaptable to all language learning vocabulary and grammar content.
