Harry Potter themed Science Introductory work Year 7- Introducing practical skills

8 lessons worth of practical skills as an introduction in science. Includes full student booklet and powerpoint with brief lesson plans to accompany student booklet. Also included is equipment that will be needed for practicals. All lessons are Harry Potter themed and are used to introduce basic skills in science, being safe in the lab, lighting a bunsen burner, learning to use a thermometer and a measuring cylinder, making crystals, flame tests. Investigation skills also introduced, such as identifying variables, drawing results tables and graphs and analysing data with evaluation.
This will really excite new year 7s and enthuse them with science.
