High Frequency word Cards to use in class or send home

I have created these High Frequency word cards to send home with the children. Obviously they can be used in class too. The children work through the different cards from 1-9. Each card has a British animal on them and the children enjoy knowing what animal comes next. Each card contains 8-9 words and I have added useful quotes, ideas and activities for parents to do with their children. We have found these a really quick and supportive way to help children in their reading. The more high frequency words they know the more books are open to them! They can also be used to support children in Year 1. Our parents are loving them and have found them a great way to help at home.

You can use them as A4 sheets but I print them 2 per page, fold them over and then they can be laminated for continued use.
