Houses Comprehension and Number Sheet

A cross curricular resource based on your topic of Homes, Houses, Where we live or Ourselves.
The children have 8 houses and need to work out what the colours are of each.
Children read the text and then colour in the appropriate parts of each house.
Next, they cut out the houses and put them in number order. Houses are even numbered from 2 to 16.
Sheet 2 shows the houses when coloured in so children can mark their own work.
For younger children, the adult could read the text and the children can then colour in the houses.
Children could do this activity as a guided reading activity or as homework.
