How to Grow a Planet: LIFE FROM LIGHT (S1E01).

HOW TO GROW A PLANET is a 3 part documentary series created by BBC, in which Dr. Iain Stewart tells a stunning new story about our planet. In this first episode, Dr. Iain Stewart journeys from the spectacular caves of Vietnam to the remote deserts of Africa. He sees how plants first harnessed light from the sun and created our life-giving atmosphere. He uncovers the epic battle between the dinosaurs and the tallest trees on the planet.

This video worksheet has 43 questions. It includes a combination of fill-in-the blank, true/false, and/or short answer questions. Students will fill in the worksheet while watching “How to Grow a Planet”. Watching a documentary is no longer a passive activity.

The video worksheet is printable, and NO prep is required. The video worksheet is perfect for sub plans. An answer key is included.
