First of all £10 - that’s a bargain, you will save so much time and the websites you get will be so much better than you have had in the past, honestly I should be charging hundreds.
I never understand why you would want to build a website from the ground up with CSS and HTML - it’s daft, no-one in the real world does this, they use the likes of WordPress, SquareSpace, Wix or Shopify.
Now if you go down the WordPress route, you can get free hosting, your students have access to build their sites 24/7 from anywhere they can access the net, and they will build something that actually looks professional. WordPress is not template driven like Wix. I have had many students go through this unit at Distinction level using Wordpress and these videos show you how to do it all. Themes, pages, media, plugins, CSS, Javascript and even some SEO to tie in with unit 3.
I promise you your students will build cracking websites really quickly and you won’t go back to HTML or the likes of Dreamweaver or WYSWIG editors, it’s not 2005 you know, the world has moved on.
Oh one thing if you watch the preview video on YouTube please understand the real videos are much better quality and easier to see what’s going on.
