Integrated Plant Parts Poetry Activities

This pack of poetry activities correlates with 1st grade CCSS poetry standards and GASE plant standards. Students will do close reading of poems that give clues, then guess which part of the plant each poem is about! A poem is included for the roots, stem, leaves, flower, and seed.
These resources are versatile to meet your instructional needs. They can easily be used for a whole group mini-lesson or game, for small-group instruction, as a center, or as independent work.
