International Trade: A-level Economics (AQA New Spec) REVISION SHEET

This is a new addition to my series of A3 revision sheets/knowledge organisers. My students wanted something that pulled together ideas including:

• welfare gain due to free trade
• trade vs aid
• absolute/comparative advantage
• factors affecting international competitiveness

So that is what this attempts to do.
Normally I would gather some relevant past paper questions relating to this topic, and I probably will do that in due course, but I thought I’d put this out in good time for Paper 2 and Paper 3 for anyone that might find it useful.

Although designed with the current AQA A-level specification in mind, it is more widely applicable.

The diagrams and text tend to be lifted from my Powerpoints, also available on TES.
