This intervention was originally planned and written for a group of eight girls on the ASD spectrum, ranging from year 7 to year 11. I realised that quite often girls with ASD do not get the time or recognition in comparison to boys and so was excited to put together a program to both support and empower them. The sessions run over 10 weeks with the focus being on emotional regulation, expected behaviours, understanding ASD and building confidence. This document includes a scale assessment to complete before and after each session in order to measure progress.
