This is the first lesson in the scheme of work for Unit 1: The UK Travel and Tourism Industry. The Lesson works through essential Knowledge in a Light and breezy way. The Lesson Includes the definitions and Types of Travel and Tourism, as well as fun facts and current issues in Tourism. The Lesson concludes by asking students to create a poster titled: ‘The Importance of Tourism’
This lesson can be used for the NCFE Level 3 Travel and Tourism Qualifications and can be adapted for use with BTEC and City and Guilds Courses at both Levels 2 and 3.
