Sentences with irregular preterit verbs

I stems: Hacer, Querer, Venir

U stems: Andar, Estar, Poder, Poner, Saber, Tener

J stems: Decir, Traer, Conducir

Template is provided with subjects and irregular verb stems. Students will add the appropriate verb ending and add additional words to have an 8 word minimum sentence.

Sentences are grouped by I, J, and U stems. There are 18 sentences total

This is a good structured activity to write sentences as students are being introduced to the irregular preterit. The activity can also be used as a bell ringer, exit pass, or as part of your sub plans.
