Islam and the life of Muhammad

A full RE KS3 lesson on the life and impact of Prophet Muhammad. The power point uses attractive images and a variety of tasks to explore the life of Muhammad, including the Night of Power and the battle for Makkah. Tasks include a re-cap starter on the 5 Pillars, short answers on Muhammad’s life, extended writing on Muhammad’s importance, a sequencing of his life events, a fill in research task, a short true or false quiz and a plenary using images to describe. The pupil info sheets and fill in sheets are included in the power point. This lesson would fit in schemes of work covering either founders of religion, Islam or prophets.
