These 'Number Bond' resources provide a structured approach to ensuring each child is enthused and motivated to increase their fluency with number bonds in KS1 and beyond.
Each 'Bonds to ....' incorporates three levels - Bronze, Silver, Gold -and each week children are given five minutes to complete their sheet independently.
Children achieving full marks move onto the next sheet. Once they have achieved Bronze, Silver and Gold they are awarded their 'Bonds to 12 Master Certificate' which is fully adaptable to your own schools requirements.
Each sheet incorporates an increasingly demanding range of question types -based upon Singapore and Shanghai approaches. This ensures children are adept at recognising the 'maths' without being thrown by a variety in structure at an early age.
Once scores are collected the sheets are sent home to allow children to practice and improve. This creates opportunities for parental involvement, engagement and celebration of progress.
