Are you looking to make your life easier when asking children questions when reading? This product can be made into a mini booklet that can be used to support lesson planning and oral questioning when hearing children read. It will enable you to ask a variety of questions across the reading domains. These question stems are taken from the Key Stage One tests and can easily be adapted to all texts used in KS1.

Experienced teachers, new teachers, student teachers and teaching assistants will find this useful when working on reading skills with children. I keep mine handy while writing my guided reading questions for when my mind goes blank, or i find myself going back to the same question stems over and over again!
