This lesson teaches on the problems that King John faced with his barons. It aims to have students learning from original sources while developing their writing ability. All lessons have a same-model structure to get the students taught in a coherent manner, and always understand where they are at in their learning:
Three tasks based on levels of difficulties. first task is a source analysis, the second task is a full-of-information card sort. The third task is a writing one, matching the GCSE writing framework. The two first tasks are group or class-assessed, the third is individual and gives you the chance to go around the class and support writing on one on one.
Homework, reading resources and task templates are included.
