KS1 - identifying nouns and adjectives

This is a resource that I used with a Y1 class when developing and applying their understanding of nouns and adjectives within sentences.

This resource is differentiated for LA, MA and HA. The first worksheet is for the LA where they can read, identify and colour code the nouns and adjectives, thsi is followed up with an activity of filling in the blanks with words provided. The second worksheet is for the MA with the same activities as the LA but filling in the blanks with their own words. The third worksheet is for the HA where they not only read, identify and colour code nouns and adjecives but create their own for a partner to colour code. This is followed with a activity to use a noun and an adjective to create their own simple sentences.
