This is an excellent, high-quality, progressive unit on non-chronological reports. It stems from the ‘Poles Apart’ book (by Jeanne Willis) with the outcome being non-chronological report on polar bears but this can be adapted for any animal or subject. Includes immersion, skills building, shared and model write and editing lesson.
4-5 week unit with all the lessons, PowerPoints and resources provided, including differentiated resources and word banks.
Made for a Year 2 group but very easily adapted to Year 1-4.

Great resource but a read only PPT with dates and instructions specific for a class so not great when trying to use with a different class and all printable recording sheets etc. have the incorrect dates. An editable version would make the resource useful, I can't really use it for the reasons stated so have spent money to no avail. Same as the PPT is good.
