KS2 Romans Research Lesson Independent Learning with Differentiation Element

Easy to teach cross-curricula lesson. Starter and teaching input on PowerPoint - focusing on quality research skills and explaining the task ahead. Main learning activity consists of 2 types of sheets in full colour, for differentiation if required, and blank extension task. Plenary task involving speaking skills included that can also be used for assessment. Children will learn about various items and buildings from Roman times going on to research items of their choice developing independent learning skills. Simple to teach, fun for the class and could be easily extended to nearly 2 hours if required.
