KS3/4 Holocaust bundle of lessons

This is a series of 9 lessons with lesson plans and resources. I did this unit of work as part of my PGCE for a high ability year 9 group. It includes a number of challenge tasks and writing support frameworks. The unit looks at why it was allowed to happen, through to living conditions, and the final solution. There are several independent writing tasks. Some lessons require the 20th Century Today history book but you can adapt the lessons if you don’t have these, and these are not needed for whole lessons. I have tried to ensure that I keep to the Holocaust trusts idea that we don’t dehumanise the events and ensure that students realise this.
