KS3 D&T Science Materials HOME SCHOOL engineering project - BLOODHOUND LSR Supersonic Car

This KS3/KS4 D&T and SCIENCE activity has your students playing the role of materials engineer for a supersonic car project. Using an interactive presentation, materials database, informative poster and scaffolded writing frame, they decide on the best materials to make up the different components of the car.

This activity is based around the BLOODHOUND LSR Car Project, aiming to inspire young people towards STEM careers by showcasing new technologies and skills with a Jet and Rocket Powered Car.
