This bundle offers the KS3 curriculum on electricity (Years 8, 9 and 10).
Each lesson is fully differentiated into Low, Mid, High and GCSE tasks and can be fully adaptable to any scale of learning (e.g. AWOL, 9-1)

The outline below gives a lesson by lesson account of the bundle
Lesson 1 - Investigating batteries (Pupils will look at how batteries work and investigate a self made battery)

Lesson 2 - Circuits (Pupils will learn how to draw model circuit diagrams including symbols, and learn how to put these into practice)

Lesson 3 - Voltage (Pupils will be able to explain what voltage is and what it does to current. They will be making comparisons to a model diagram and looking at voltage calculations)

Lesson 4 and 5 - Resistance (Pupils will be able to explain and calculate resistance through Ohm’s law. They will also be planning and conducting an investigation to look at how resistance of a wire changes with length (linked to How Science Works)

Lesson 6 - Series and Parallel Circuits (Pupils will be drawing comparisons between series and parallel circuits and be able to discuss them qualitatively and also apply calculations to determine current and voltage through them)
