This unit follows on nicely from any scratch unit you might teach early on in KS3. This introduces students nicely to the key programming constructs of programming using Python.
What better way to engage students than to allow them to build their own games. Each lesson guides them through the game making process step by step highlighting the programming construct in use. At the end of every lesson they have an opportunity to tweak or change their game to thier own preferences.
A highly engaging unit of work for students
