L4 - Population Pyramids - [Unit 2, Section B, Development Gap] - [AQA GCSE Geog New spec]

AQA GCSE Geography [new spec], UNIT 2, DEVELOPMENT GAP, PT1/3 FOR SECTION B

This is the FIRST part of section B for unit 2 of the new GCSE AQA spec. This bundle includes 12 lessons and 1 assessment. MOST of the lessons WILL require the use of the blue AQA oxford books however you may be able to easily modify parts of the lesson to fit your own textbook. The presentations have been designed to be dyslexia friendly. I have used soft pastel colours, comic sans font, and text boxes to help pupils with SEN see the presentation better. The lessons will include an embedded flash timer to help keep the pace of your lesson going. Each lesson will also include a small box in the corner to indicate how long you should spend. I include footnotes at the bottom of each slide to act as a mini lesson plan and give teachers an idea on what to do on each slide. Lessons also include videos embedded into them however if they do not work i've included the youtube links in the footnotes. A lot of lessons will include opportunities for class debates, active learning, plenty of past paper questions and lots and lots of peer/self assessment (helps your books look regularly marked!). I try to include lots of examiner reports in as well to help pupils understand the questions better. I wont make out these lessons are outstanding but they are more than good enough to use as they are or to be built on by anyone wanting to go the extra mile. My lessons are some of the cheapest lessons you can buy on this site ! You would be paying less then a £1 a lesson! Think of the glorious time you would save. My lesson philosophy is all about it being student led rather than teacher led. This is why some lessons wont give you a million slides to use. Part 2 of the bundle can be found here.
