This project and attached scheme of work teaches from how to use a sewing machyine up to every other textile technique there is.
Artists incorporated are Naomi Renouf, Carol Naylor, Angie Lewin, Bren Boardman, Nicky Dillerstone and then the pupils select one other of their choice.
These contextual links introduce how to analyse (see attached example of analysis sheet) and then allows students to respond to their work through use of a variety of techniques (applique, machine embroiodery, printing, felt making etc).
