This is an absolute winner!
I have used this activity in both secondary schools and FE colleges, and is suitable for primary learning. It really works in engaging students of all abilities and ages. This can be used as stand alone fun activity, or as a starter for a lesson on place value.
It also provides opportunity for 2 digit addition (calculator/non-calculator).

Hi Andy, thanks very much for your review. Glad you like it. I've been using it since I first started teaching back in the 90's, and it works with all groups. At first i would throw one of those big sponge dice, which really engaged the class. Also had an interactive dice on smartboard. You can download this in either Powerpoint or Notebook at www.themathsgeezer.co.uk for free, along with other games puzzles, and whole lesson resources.

Great game. Love the concept, really good for lower able pupils. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks very much for your two very kind reviews, glad you were able to use them. I've used the Less than game for over 20 years, and it works with all classes. I had an interactive version with rolling dice, which the kids loved, but the software stopped working with updates. I've also through those big sponge dice around, adds fun. Check out my website http://www.themathsgeezer.co.uk/ for more resources.
