This is a DT project in which groups are challenged to design an eco friendly product for the home. There are lots of literacy rich elements to the project and some numeracy elements.
I created this as a result of the need to demonstrate how literacy and numeracy skills are being developed through other curriculum areas. The project almost ran as a 'dragons Den' type activity which pupils enjoyed immensely.
The project lasts for a whole day or maybe a lesson a day over a week.
