Loi Krathong 1 week planning and resources. Suitable for a Reception class when learning about the wider world and looking at different festivities around the world.

What is included:
Daily Maths and Literacy planning for a week linked to the Loi Krathong Festivity.
PDF copy of my picture book “Loi Krathong” and a link to a digital copy.

Maths Activities
Count the krathongs and write the number in the box.
Smallest to Largest - cut the krathongs and order them from smallest to largest.
Krathong Addition - add the krathongs and write the answers in the box.
Number Formation - count the krathongs and trace over the numbers.
Matching Numerals to Quantity - cut out the numbers and stick
them in the correct box.

Literacy Activities
Label the krathong. Write the names of the different parts of the krathong.
Loi Krathong word search.
Writing - practice writing the Loi Krathong words by tracing the letters.
Cut and Paste - cut out the Loi Krathong pictures and stick them under the correct word.
Letter Mix Up - unscramble the letters to spell the words correctly.
