A bit confusing
I agree with my colleagues. Apart from basic error in calculation, this method caused much confusion among my pupils.
I hate to be negative about something that is free, but there are some serious errors here. The second calculation is incorrect: 7 x 5 is calculated as 25. Aside from this error, the methodology is not one i'd recommend, it's overlong and lends itself to error. Instead, 24 x 16 should be broken into relatively simple column multiplication with the first line being 26 x 6 and the second line being 24 x 10. I would caution against using this unless you're willing to do some editing.
