Looking after Our Hair for SEND and EYFS

The set of 5 lessons based on Looking after Hair, has an emphasis on Sensory Exploration.
Incorporating sensory exploration into hair care lessons offers SEND children an engaging learning experience.
The lessons promote personal care skills and are designed with the learning needs of SEND children in mind.
The resources include lesson plans with objectives, suggested materials, steps and teacher support required. There are 2 sets of symbol cards, each showing 15 cards. Set 1 is in colour and set 2 is in black and white.
The approach focuses on understanding hair care basics to engaging in role-play activities.
