This pack includes a 4-day unit of work in which the learning is identifying and reasoning with shape, particularly triangles. The questions also challenge the children to identify angles within a shape.
The pack is all set up and complete to simply print off and teach with. Attached are suggested WALTs ('We are learning to's'), however you school may have a different policy in place for your learning WALTs/learning objectives.
Each lesson is separated with a different number at the beginning of the file. The recommended way to use these resources are as follows:
- work way through the slips in the order of 'skill', 'application', 'reasoning' and 'greater depth'.
- the following day, dependant on the children's attainment the day before the children can start further in the stage because that is the level of challenge they require.
However, if you see a way to use these resources in a different way then let us know, so we can maybe improve our products for the future.
