Mean, Median, Mode and Range

Introductory activity to the use of averages and range for Functional Skills or GCSE Maths students. Certainly helps the methods and the maths to stick.

M&M activity provides practice finding measures of mean, median, mode and Range, with the opportunity to develop skills when developing a chart to display data. Easily adaptable to suit your differentiation needs. Learners initially work in pairs, but the activity eventually involves working together as a whole group to compare the different amounts.

It also has a review of converting fractions, decimals, and percents.
