This is a GSCE lesson on mega cities, primate cities and world cities. The lesson develops on the idea of urban hierarchy and introduce to students the idea of mega cities, primate cities and world cities. This is good foundation work for A level geography. Key facts about the lesson are:

1. It's based on the new GCSE specifications
2. It's well planned. It took me some time to get the right balance of activities and content into the lesson in a meaningful but using active learning ideas
3. It's a complete lesson with all the resources you need to deliver it - a starter, learning activities and plenary. All you will need is the ppt and handout which I've attached. Just teach!
3. It has a range of activities relevant to the assessment objectives of the new specifications. There is a video clip in the lesson, a word cloud activity, a numeracy activity, a venn diagram task and a practice question.
