This is a 12 line grid - on one side students write out the notes for their answer in the target language, on the other side the same text in English, but written in the the TL word order. Students can then highlight one word in each line, in both languages. The box at the bottom is the summary of key words, so that pupils can construct their answers for the conversation element of the speaking test, avoiding the temptation to Google translate answers, or learning their answers parrot fashion. There is also an 8 line version for foundation candidates.
