This lesson is suitable for the AQA GCSE Biology and AQA Combined Science: Trilogy course looking at the advantages and disadvantages for light and electron microscopes.
The labelling a microscope worksheet is an extra (as in it does not have to feature in the lesson itself).
When using the resource:
- ‘Knowledge Checks’ should be completed on Mini White Boards.
- The re-teach slide is there incase it is needed from the ‘Knowledge Check’ - hence, can be skipped over if not needed.
- Check for Understanding questions should be completed on Mini White Boards (you do not need to ask all of them - it is for you to choose how many you would like to do).
- Independent Practice questions should be completed in students’ exercse books - with students working silently and independently.
