This resource serves as a very useful recap of the Middle Ages and the various roles within Medieval society. It helps students visualise what it would have been like living in the Middle Ages and it ensures that they put the information that they have learnt to real use. It brings the subject to life. Roleplaying is an excellent way for the students to become actively involved in a lesson and thus to "learn by doing". This resource is a great idea that should assist teachers in designing a roleplay activity that could occupy the whole class. It encourages the class to research their roles and to be creative in presenting themselves as the part that they have been allocated. The demonstration, narration and action involved in this exercise would fulfills V.A.R.K. learning fully. The students I teach really enjoyed it and got totally involved in it.
