Morning starter activities - Year 5 Autumn 1, week 1

This powerpoint has been created to give the children something to do when they fisrt come into the classroom in the morning. They could use a jotter or scrap paper to complete the activities. There are maths and spelling sections to complete each day and a SPAG or reading focused activity once a week too. There is a slide for each day of the week and the following slide gives the answers where needed so that the children can self mark. This is a great resource for settling the children in the morning and to keep them focused. The maths questions are arithmetic focused to help the children use their mental maths skills.
