This Movie Guide made for Tangled (PG - 2010) challenges students to navigate the complexities of trust and personal growth. Explore Rapunzel’s longing for the floating lights and Flynn Rider’s transformation from a self-serving thief to a loyal friend and hero. Engage in discussions about the challenges they face, such as Rapunzel overcoming her fear of the outside world and Flynn grappling with his own identity. Consider how their journey together breaks down walls of mistrust and leads to a deep, genuine connection. Encourage students to think about the ways in which overcoming fears and embracing new experiences can lead to significant personal growth and stronger relationships.

**Distance Learning Tips:

  • Distribute the Google Slides version to each student
  • Use the screen sharing tool on your group call software to play the movie
  • Pause the movie at each question to give students time to write/discuss
