This resource is for children who have learnt about Rivers and are ready for a new challenge; Mudflats. It explains what they are and how they are created. It describes the rich animal life and animals co-exist in this environment. The independent work is for children to create a Mudflat Tourist Information board. This lesson is differentiated 3 ways. The most able will design their information board independently. Everyone else will have templates and prompts to work from. This is an Upper KS2 resource although some able year 4's could manage this too.
