Read the poem to the children, however, do not read the final line of the poem. Children return to their desks to draw/colour a picture of what they visualise then return to the group setting. Re-read the poem together, reading the whole poem this time. Now send the children back to their desks and have them draw and colour a picture of what they visualise now.
