My Pets and Favorite Animals Fun Frames Writing Activity

My Pets and Favorite Animals Fun Frames Writing Activity will get your students writing details about their pets and favorite animals on a fun printable, and participating in discussions with other students. There are several printables included with this packet:

The first two printables include About My Pet questions. There is a template for a dog and a template for a cat, though they can be used to answer questions about any type of pet. Students can answer the questions and color in the printables as they wish. You can then display the printables your students have created on the classroom wall. The third printable contains My Favorite Animal questions. This can be used for students that do not have a pet. Students can write information about whatever animal they choose, be it mammal, fish, insect, bird, reptile, marsupial, or whatever they like. They can then color in the printables.

The next three printables are frames-only pages with the labels removed that you can use to enter your own questions for your students to answer. Students can color in the printables when they have finished answering the questions you supply them.

The final printable is a coloring page based on the question-and-answer printables. This page is available if you want to give students a fun coloring activity without having them use their question-and-answer printables. Students can color in their printables and then include them in their school binders or paste them into their interactive notebooks.
