The first week in a two week unit focusing on the film “The Alchemist’s Letter”. Each lesson provides guided writing opportunities to describe a scene, explore character’s emotions and explain how the machine works using drama and images.
This then leads on to a second week (coming soon) where children explore two of the character’s memories, add their own happy memory to the machine and then explore morals before editting and refining.
Aimed at Year 5 but can easily be used with a Year 6 class also.
