This revision resource covers the WHOLE of section 3.6.2 from the AQA Alevel Biology Specification: Nervous Coordination which includes the topics “Nerve Impulses” and “Synaptic Transmission.”
The purple bullet points are copied directly from the AQA spec, with my own notes directly below each point to ensure that every aspect of the spec is covered. For each section I made a “Key Info” text boxes which contains essential key words to use when answering exam questions in order to gain all the marks. Over my time studying AQA Alevel Biology, and doing many past papers, I noted the specific words needed in order to obtain those all-important marks in the super specific AQA markscheme! These notes are extremely specific and helped me to achieve top marks in my Biology A level and so hope they will help you too:)
** All the photos in this revision pack are from google images, I take no claim for them!** They’re used to support my notes.
