Following the new life after levels I have developed this Curriculum Map/Assessment Criteria for use with Food and Nutrition lessons from KS3-4 as this now stands alone from Design Technology. The map provides a seamless transition from KS3-4 and can be used as a 5 year curriculum map.
The core principles are based on the most up to date government documentation and are focused on Knowledge Application, Manufacturing Skills, Planning and Evaluation but with a secondary focus on the AQA Food, Preparation and Nutrition specification.
It works on the new GCSE 1-9 grading system but as it’s an editable word document that you can adapt this to suit your school.
As an additional resource, I have also included two pupil friendly assessment criteria sheets that can be used to self/peer assess work in KS3 which has saved me lots of time marking!
I hope it saves you lots of time.

I like the 'I can' student friendly statements and appreciate the amount of work that has obviously gone into this resource. However, your explanation of your grading system isn't sufficiently explained. Your explanation states that Bronze is equivalent to Grades 3-4 and Platinum to Grades 8-9. What about Silver and Gold? I would appreciate a more complete explanation of your system as you are charging £5 for this resource. Thanks
